Yesterday i did a post on great indie nail polish’s with a red white and blue theme for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. Today i thought i would take the time to show you some retail and salon branded fourth of July polishes. Here’s what i have found:
So far this is the only one i have found, but any others i find i will be sure to edit in!
This is a Royal Wedding themed polish but it is red, white and blue so it fits well with the theme of fourth of July polishes.
My first every glossybox arrived today! I am so so pleased with it! I got some gorgeous products, some stuff i will use and some i will give to my mum as a treat. I was super happy to recieve THREE full size products! Here is what i got:
I was really happy to recieve this as i have been in dire need of a lip balm! I’ve been using the lush lip scrub in bubblegum everyday which is a great product but every time i use it my lips feel like they need a little bit of moisture so this is perfect. It’s even tinted so i don’t need to worry about gloss or lipstick. With this one product already i have recovered 50% of the price of the box! I was also very pleased about it being 100% organic. I prefer to use organic and handmade products and will always buy them before a harsh chemical filled product
I was a little disheartened to recieve a lip liner as i always see them as being for older women and at 19 that is certainly not me. I was also disappointed in the dark brown shade, it looks almost like a brown eyeliner. However a quick glance at the price, and the fact that it is full size soon consoled me. I would have preferred to recieve the lip crayon or a pink shade but beggars can’t be choosers! The total of my box now comes in at £13 which has already paid for the box and the shipping! However i will probably end up giving this to my mum or saving it for a christmas gift for someone.
RRP: (rough estimate with the size and price of a full size taken into account) £5
Available here: http://www.nailsinc.com/nailpolish/portobello-polish/991/
This one i was very excited about! Yes, a full sized polish would be nice but as i have never tried nails inc before ( yes, awful, i know…) i’m happy with a mini. The colour was something i would definetely choose as i like anything bright, pastel or chock full of glitter! So yes, as a nail blogger the inclusion of a nail polish made my day! Who knows, if i really like this i might go and buy myself a few nails inc polishes! My box total is now a whopping £18, £5 over the price of the box and postage. Right on!
Another full size product! Thats three in total! I was super pleased as i have now recieved two organic products! My face is extremely temperamental when it comes to face creams and moisturisers so hopefully an organic deity will whip it into submission! This is another thing i’ve been meaning to buy and would likely never spend the rrp for it so to recieve it in a glossybox is super cool! I also noted that it contains no parabens which is always a bonus!
I also recieved two 15ml Paul Mitchell samples for curly hair. My hair is straight straight straight so these will be passed over. Also, i’m not one for hair care products. So this one will also be given to my mum. It is nice that they included a salon brand and i’m very pleased with the fact that a lot of these are high end brands. I think this was money well spent so will continue with a monthly subscription. Hooray for glossybox! Hopefully next month i will get some eye make up and more nail polish. Fingers crossed.
Overall, i’d give my June box a 4/5 🙂

As we are fast approaching July i thought i would take today to show you guys some great indie fourth of july inspired polishes! Born and raised in the UK, the fourth of july isnt a holiday i celebrate which is quite naughty considering i am half American! Naturally, these polishes all carry a red white and blue theme, so if you’re a fellow Brit you can also use these to celebrate your own national pride!
First up is this gorgeous duo by Franken Frosting
You can purchase on Etsy:
Or on the Franken Frosting website:
Next up is this super patriotic glitter polish by Starrily
You can purchase ‘Patriot’ on Etsy:
Whilst not specifically designed as a fourth of july polish i think this one still fits the bill, the cute little glitter hearts really make this polish. Here is I Love Nail Polish’s ‘Candy Gram’
You can purchase the full sized bottle on their online store here:
These are just a few Fourth of July polishes, you can find tons more at the links provided below:

Sorry for the link heavy post! Hope you find some great fourth of july polishes!
For those of you who don’t already know, in September ( August in the US) OPI are releasing what is in my opinion a HUGE collection for autumn winter. What i like about the look of these is that they aren’t all ‘red’ like a lot of winter polish collections. I think these shades are definetely suitable for the season, so i won’t feel so bad about packing away my neons and pastels. Here is a sneak peak:
The names and descriptions are as follows
Tara from Taras Talons has now started added mini collections on a frequent basis, today i thought i would show you her most recent one added less than 2 hours ago.
First up, a gorgeous bubblegum pink with different size blue and teal hex glitters.
Second, is a slight concrete grey colour with lots of tiny multi coloured glitters and some larger hex glitters.
Third, is a dark grey almost iron coloured polish with black holographic pigments and lots of multi coloured glitters
And last but not least! A white coloured based filled with rainbow hex glitters in different sizes. This polish reminds me of clowns, i don’t know why.
I think these are gorgeous! I love white bases with glitters and Tara delivers every time! Beautiful colourful polishes…Tara is probably my favourite indie polish creator and i have quite a large Taras Talons polish collection!
Buy on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Tarastalons
I’ve just tried out my first monthly beauty box so lets see how it goes this month! It looks super cute and the contents more than pay for the price! This is slightly off to the topic of nail polish i know but they do include polish in their boxes 🙂
If you subscribe through this link you will be helping me to earn ‘glossydots’ so if you are considering purchasing one please do it through here, thank you millions ❤
Im super excited as i had no idea about this, but Nicole by OPI are shortly bringing out a collection inspired by Disney’s Tinkerbell ( of Peter Pan ;P). These polishes are so adorable, i love super girly polishes, glitters and pastel shades and the occasional bright colour. This collection offers all of those things 🙂
I love all of these, especially the top three 🙂
Let me know what you think!
I just brought home this absolute beauty and wanted to share it with you guys! Unfortunately i am still unable to swatch due to camera issues…my tips are in much better condition however than they were during my first swatch *cringe* so hopefully when i do next swatch the pictures will look great :). However i will show you a lovely swatch by another great blogger and some pictures of the bottle etc. Here is a swatch by Pinpoint Polish:
Check out her blog and more important check out that gorgeous polish! I think it looks lovely over hot pink to avoid a VNL ( visible nail line) something i can’t STAND!
