I saw a great mani by Rachel over at Racho’s Nail Love. It was green, yellow and red stripes with a black crackle effect over the top. I thought it looked awesome and decided to recreate it using pink, blue and green pastel shades with white crackle! I decided i was quite pleased with my stripes so thought i’d show off my mani BEFORE the crackle effect was added as well 🙂
Warning, picture heavy 😉
These were my three stripe colours. From L-R: Essie Navigate Her, OPI Pink Friday and Taras Talons Curacao.
Here are my nails when i had finished the stripes and applied a top coat.
Now, here it is with crackle! The polish i used was a white Barry M Nail Effects Polish
When finished, i later went back and added a matte top coat over two coats of Seche Vite, i decided the shiny look wasn’t quite working. It looked much better matte 🙂
Today i want to share with you an indie brand i find it hard to believe that i haven’t shown you guys already! Oopsie Daises Nails are one of those brands that has something for everyone. Their polishes come in every colour of the rainbow! These are all very wearable shades, with a few that i would consider to be office friendly. Here is what i’m loving:
Applied to a false nail
I really love this polish as i think it’s a perfect duck egg blue, it reminds me of speckled egg shells and whilst a lot of indie polishes can be similar to one another i think this is one of a kind.

I love all of the pastel glitters in this one, if you’re a regular reader of my blog then you will know i love anything pastel, bright or neon and this one ticks two out of three boxes.
Applied to a false nail. (l-r) one coat, two coats, three coats
I think Oopsie Daises Nails is a great indie brand and would definetely recommend that you support them!
Im super excited as i had no idea about this, but Nicole by OPI are shortly bringing out a collection inspired by Disney’s Tinkerbell ( of Peter Pan ;P). These polishes are so adorable, i love super girly polishes, glitters and pastel shades and the occasional bright colour. This collection offers all of those things 🙂
